Accolades for Golf in Kamloops

2020 may be long remembered for the year of incredible golf amidst a global pandemic. For many of the Golf Kamloops partners that is certainly the case, particularly with the announcements of the World Golf Awards at the end of October. 

Kamloops was well represented on the world golf stage with Tobiano being awarded top prize – Canada’s Best Golf Course for 2020.

The World Golf Awards highlight and reward amazingness in golf tourism throughout the globe. Voting ran from February to September 2020. Votes were cast by industry professionals, executives, tour operators, agents and media professionals. Golf consumers also contributed to the voting process. Votes were submitted online via the World Golf Awards website.

The praise continued for BCGolfGuide.com who delivers central reservations for Golf Kamloops being named Canada’s Best Inbound Golf Tour Operator for the third year in a row. Ross Marrington and his team are well versed in BC’s golf experiences and provide incredible customer service for destination golfers. 

Rounding out the merits is BC Golf Safaris who lead central reservations for Golf in British Columbia – an important Golf Kamloops partner. Patrick Meager and his team were named North America’s Best Golf Tour Operator for 2020. 

These accolades, and the amazing work of all Golf Kamloops’ partners, are integral to Kamloops’ recognition as an exceptional golf destination.
